The greyhound racing industry is fun and exciting. It has many players who are involved at many different levels. You can be involved in this industry to. The purpose of this article is to explain to you the different levels of involvement so you can decide where to start and if you want to move through the different levels.
• Punting- Most people start out betting on greyhounds. It is extremely exciting to watch the greyhound you have bet on pass the finish line first. You could also bet for a quinella or trifecta amongst a variety of other exotic bets.
• Ownership- The only thing more exciting than watching the greyhound you have bet on pass the winning line first is to own the greyhound that has passed the finish line first. There are a variety of ways that you can become an owner. You can buy your greyhound outright or you can get together with mates to start a greyhound syndicate.
• Training- If you really get excited by greyhound racing, you could become a trainer. This avenue is not available for everybody as many people may not have the space to house a greyhound.
