The system I am going to outline for you below is a fairly common one that has been around for years. I’ve seen many people (online, and offline) who claim to be the inventor of this system. I am not going to give you a history lesson but the premise of this system is fairly simple and it can be effective. It is not the system for everyone but it may be for you. I could have sold you this horse racing system but I thought I would offer it to you for free because I am feeling in a generous mood today.

“Backing Favourites System”

Many papers carry freely available tips from Racing Experts every day, as do many websites.

I prefer the Herald Sun in Melbourne, the Sport 927 website and the form available if you are a member of Sportsbet. The basic premise of this system is that you decide how much you want to win each day and alter your bets accordingly by backing the most tipped horse in each race.

Lets say you want to make $100 per day puntingon the horses or the greyhounds.

If the horse that is most tipped in the first race is paying $5. To get the $100 profit you want for the day you would need to bet $25 for a total possible return of $125($100 winnings plus your initial $25 investment.) If this horse wins you stop betting for the day.

Lets say this horse doesn’t win. Then you move on to the next race. Let’s say that the most tipped horse is paying $3. To make your $100 profit for the day you would need to bet $63 for a total possible return of $189 ($101 profit plus your bet of $63 and your initial bet of $25.) If this horse wins you stop betting for the day.

So on, and so forth. The basic premise of this system is that the experts are paid to study the form so should know what they are talking about. If your starting bankroll is not huge, I would suggest you aim for lower daily profit limits until your bankroll increases.
