<p>I can&#8217;t work out why they wouldn&#8217;t want to access as many customers as possible. I think it would be profitable for them to release this application in Australia. I know I would pick it up!</p>

<p>Yahoo announced today that co-founder Mr Yang, who spurned a $US47 billion ($A72.36 billion) takeover offer from Microsoft this year, is stepping down as chief executive.</p>
<p>&#8220;Jerry and the board have had an ongoing dialogue about succession timing, and we all agree that now is the right time to make the transition to a new CEO who can take the company to the next level,&#8221; Yahoo chairman Roy Bostock said. </a></p>
