Just Mobile has two cell phone plans available in Australia- the Prepaid Cap and the 39 cent prepaid plan. These plans can suit all kinds of travellers depending on their call patterns.
The Prepaid 39 cent plan has a standard rate of 39 cents per minute with no flagfall. You can also call over 100 countries for 39 cents per minute. This plan is one of the only I know in this market space that does not come with a flagfall. It is 20 cents for an SMS.
The equivalent $30 Optus plan has similar rates and a 20 cent flagfall. All SMS messages also would cost 25 cents with Optus.
If you are only calling Australian numbers whilst you are here, you may be more interested in the 39 cent prepaid cap. Depending on your recharge level, here is how much credit you will get each month:
